Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately. Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates for pediatric patients. Prepare examination rooms with necessary supplies and ensure cleanliness and organization before and after patient visits. Support clinical procedures including medication administration, basic wound care, and ear washes, nasal swabs, HGB ang Lead testing Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems by entering patient data, updating charts, and coding diagnoses using ICD (International Classification of Diseases) codes. Provide excellent patient service by explaining procedures, answering questions, and offering comfort to young patients during visits. Support administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and maintaining accurate documentation of patient interactions. Qualifications Prior experience in outpatient clinics or hospital settings with exposure to pediatrics or emergency medicine is highly preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS) certification is essential. Familiarity with hospital medicine, urgent care environments, or inpatient units such as PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit) is advantageous. Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and healthcare team members.
Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
