In this vital role, you will provide high quality care and exceptional customer service and who will support the medical team in clinical and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is proactive, compassionate, and eager to contribute to improving patient outcomes through efficient clinical and administrative support. Responsibilities Take vital signs and prepare lab specimens for testing Conduct annual wellness screening (EKG, PFT,ABI, hearing and vision screen, health risk assessment, etc.) Prepare and manage patients records, input information accurately into EHR and abide by HIPPA regulations at all times Schedule patient appointments, as well as check in and check out patients, coordinate follow up care Skills/Qualifications MDVIP Wellness Program knowledge preferred Proficiency in Athena or EHR/EMR preferred Certification as a Medical assistant preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, medications and lab orders in a primary setting preferred
