Job Description

Dermatology Office with offices in Trumbull, Westport, and Derby has a full-time position available. Candidates should have experience in a clinical setting and possess outstanding clinical and administrative skills, including computer, telephone, and interpersonal skills. All candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule including 1-2 Saturday mornings per month and be able to
TRAVEL BETWEEN SATELLITE OFFICES IN TRUMBULL, WESTPORT, AND DERBY AND WORK A FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE.
Responsibilities Interview patients and document basic medical history Organize and schedule appointments Update medical records Assist and scribe for physicians during medical examinations and surgical procedures Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments Skills Proven working experience as a medical assistant Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures Excellent time management skills Ability to multi-task and prioritize work Social perceptiveness and service oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills Proficiency in patient management software Medical Assistant education and training
