Job Description

Established in 1974, Nephrology Associates, P.A. is a single-specialty practice focusing on the care of patients with kidney disease and hypertension. Candidate should possess excellent customer service skills. The individual must be detail oriented and be able to multi-task. Job Description Full-time, 40
  • hour per week position The working hours will be Monday through Thursday from 8:00am to 5:00pm and 8:00am-4:30pm on Friday with a half-hour lunch period.
Job Candidate must have a stable work history, good work ethic and a positive attitude. Must be flexible and a team player and be able to provide 3 professional references. Job Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Taking patients to exam rooms, recording vital signs and completing EHR encounter according to visit protocol. Labs
  • chart labs, review for critical values, notify physician as needed. Preparing charts for office visits
  • obtain pertinent medical records prior to time of visit. Updating patient documentation
  • medication list, patient phone calls, etc.
Scheduling and administering injections (EPO, Hep B, Flu, Pneu, B12, TB testing) Keeping exam rooms and lab area clean, neat and well stocked. Requirements 1. Physical Frequent sitting and standing. Some carrying, lifting, kneeling bending, reaching and squatting. 2. General Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a physician's office. Electronic medical records experience is required. Ability to work quickly/ well under pressure in unexpected situations. Ability to work independently but also in a team environment. Ability to multi-task and work at a face pace. Have reliable transportation in the event of having to travel to other offices. Repeat activities according to a routine procedure. Perform variety of duties which may often change and ability to adapt to changes with ease. Practice OSHA safety standards.
