Medical Assistant

Clinical Duties:

Operate and clean ultrasound (on/off, add patient, create exam, transducer care,ultrasound covers, save and deleting exams) Assist in pre/post-procedure patient care, phone calls, and documentation Support surgical and non-surgical procedures (PRP, BMAC, Adipose) Patient Phlebotomy services for labs and regenerative services Sterile and non-sterile cart setup for all procedures Brace fitting as prescribed by practitioner Responsible for C-Arm operation during clinical procedures under physician supervision

Rooming & Cleaning:

Clean and set up procedure rooms (including sterile prep) Clean exam rooms, trays, countertops, beds Maintain exam supplies and inventory

EMR & Charting:

Prep charts for follow-ups, procedures, phone/telehealth Use DrChrono EHR to upload, fax, organize documents and notes Use DeepScribe for patient creation, impressions, and transferring notes to EHR Keep the practitioner on time and assist with time management

Prescription Management:

Prescriptions:

Call in and send electronically via EHR Medication knowledge (e.g. Prolotherapy, injection medications, Meloxicam, narcotic usage, etc.)

Inventory Management:

Track and order from McKesson and Amazon Maintain proper inventory levels for all medical, procedural, and office supplies Maintain proper inventory levels for braces (e.g. PacMed & RegenMed) Other Duties and Responsibilities To adhere to the policies and guidelines of the Company to the best of your ability. To be an ambassador of good faith in the name of the Company. To comply with the instructions provided by the authorized personnel of the Company. To perform any other non-administrative or administrative assignments from the executives of the Company as assigned either by order or oral arrangements. To report to work as prescribed by the Company, which can be set any time and any day of the week. Such schedule adjustments are made to ensure that a Company representative will cater to patient inquiries and requests. To empower and support your peers in helping to accomplish their mission. Establish and maintain training for existing and future team members for your role. Establish and maintain existing procedures for your department. Serve as subject matter expert for your responsibilities. Be ready to offer ideas for the continuous improvement of the clinic. Work with the rest of the team to move clinic goals forward. Treat patients with respect/kindness while maintaining all HIPAA standards. To ensure that all spending is limited and based on an efficient use of clinic resources.

Pay:

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
