Job Description
We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and motivated Medical Assistant to join our outpatient neurology practice. This is a consistent part-time position working Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM . The ideal candidate is organized, professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a busy medical office environment. Previous medical assistant experience is preferred, and experience in neurology is a plus. Responsibilities Room patients and obtain vital signs and medical history Prepare patients for neurological examinations and procedures Assist the physician with patient care and clinical procedures Document patient information accurately in the EMR Review and update medication and allergy lists Assist with referrals, orders, and patient forms Communicate professionally with patients and healthcare providers Answer patient questions and appropriately route clinical concerns Assist with scheduling and other clinical office tasks Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked exam rooms Follow HIPAA, OSHA, and office policies Provide excellent customer service and compassionate patient care Qualifications Medical Assistant certification preferred Previous medical office or clinical experience preferred Neurology experience is a plus Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Professional, dependable, and punctual Comfortable working with electronic medical records Must be available to work Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday consistently
