Job Description

ABC Pediatrics is looking for an enthusiastic, dependable team member to join our growing practice! Do you love working with children and providing excellent customer service? We're looking for a full-time Pediatric Medical Receptionist whose primary responsibility will be front office operations, while also serving as a cross-trained Certified Medical Assistant when needed. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both administrative and clinical responsibilities and is willing to jump in wherever needed to help our team provide exceptional care to our patients and families. Primary Responsibilities (Front Office) Greet patients and families with a friendly, professional attitude Check patients in and out Schedule appointments Verify insurance eligibility and obtain referrals/authorizations Answer and direct multi-line phone calls Collect copays and process payments Maintain accurate patient records Communicate with parents regarding appointments and office policies Perform general administrative duties to support the practice Clinical Responsibilities (As Needed) Escort patients to exam rooms Obtain vital signs and document patient history Prepare exam rooms and maintain supplies Assist providers during patient visits Administer vaccines and medications within scope of practice Perform other clinical duties as assigned Qualifications Medical Assistant Certification required Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required Previous medical receptionist experience required Pediatric experience preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Comfortable working in a fast-paced pediatric office Reliable, positive, professional, and a team player Ability to transition between front office and clinical duties as needed
Schedule Monday-Thursday:
8:00 AM - 4:30
PM Friday:
8:00 AM - 12:00 PM No evenings. No weekends.
