Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This is a multi-location position serving our Inverness, Crystal River, Lady Lake, and Wildwood offices. Flexibility and the ability to travel between locations as needed are essential requirements of this role. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care with experience in various medical settings. This role is essential in providing high-quality care to patients while ensuring smooth operations within the clinic. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures Perform intake assessments, recording medical histories Maintain accurate patient records using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care Utilize knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology in daily tasks Support various specialties such as internal medicine, geriatrics, emergency medicine, and outpatient services Qualifications Previous experience is preferred Strong understanding of patient service principles and commitment to quality care Ability to thrive in a fast-paced enviorment Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team-oriented atmosphere Knowledge of medical-surgical practices is beneficial for this role We encourage all qualified candidates who are passionate about providing exceptional patient care to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
