Responsibilities
  • Greet and room patients efficiently and professionally, ensuring a welcoming environment.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and answer phone calls promptly to support operational flow.
  • Take vital signs and support clinical activities such as drawing blood and administering vaccines.
  • Provide clinical support as needed, including maintaining patient records and preparing examination rooms.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with staff and contribute to a team-focused healthcare delivery method.
  • Support health education efforts and outreach programs to promote wellness and health awareness.
  • Ensure accurate documentation in electronic medical records (EMR) and assist with other clerical duties to optimize clinic efficiency. Required Skills
  • Minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience, including externship work.
  • Proficiency in phlebotomy and venipuncture procedures.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
  • Strong computer skills relevant to clinical workflows. Additional Skills & Requirements
  • Certified Medical Assistant (preferred but not required).
  • Experience supporting clinical and administrative functions in healthcare settings.
  • Knowledge of vaccine administration and fee collection procedures.
  • Eligibility to work with patients aged 10 and older.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekdays, with specific coverage dates.
  • A commitment to health education and outreach, making a tangible impact on community wellness.
  • Schedule may include weekday shifts from early morning to late evening, depending on clinic needs.
