Job Description

Our office looking for a dynamic and seasoned Medical Assistant to join our Orthopedic team This position requires to travel between Broward and Palm Beach. Medical assistants work under the supervision of fully licensed and accredited physicians while assisting in the delivery of healthcare and patient care management.
REQUIREMENTS
Self starter with a professional demeanor. Abides by HIPAA laws regarding sharing of personal medical information. Observes OSHA regulations including principles of standard precautions. Must be able to multitask, able to work with minimal supervision. Ability to use good judgment and utilize independent decision-making skills to effectively problem solve, resolve issues and facilitate department efficiency and productivity. Ability to prioritize and organize tasks and to maintain flexibility in response to constantly changing demands. EMR knowledge required. eClinical Works experience a plus! MRI. RESPONSIBILITIES
Intake and chart documentation of general diagnostic information. Coordinates provider schedules and schedules in office procedures and other related duties to maintain effective working relationships in the delivery of patient care. Demonstrates professional customer service and focused behavior at all times, including manner of communication, responsibility, and appearance. Observes department policies and procedures, environment and infection control standards.
