Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care, support clinical operations, and assist healthcare providers across various specialties. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will ensure smooth clinic workflows and a positive experience for every patient. The ideal candidate is passionate about healthcare, possesses strong communication skills, and thrives in fast-paced environments. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and updating electronic health record (EHR) systems accurately Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature to monitor patient health status Prepare patients for examinations and procedures by explaining processes and ensuring comfort Support clinical procedures including medication administration, wound care, X-ray assistance, and basic life support (BLS) certification protocols Manage medical supplies inventory, sterilize equipment, and ensure clinical areas are clean and organized Facilitate communication between patients and providers by scheduling appointments, answering questions, and providing patient service with professionalism Skills Proficiency with EHR systems for documentation and data entry Strong understanding of medical terminology, medication administration protocols and basic life support techniques Excellent patient service skills with the ability to intake patients efficiently while demonstrating empathy and professionalism Ability to perform vital signs collection accurately, as well as phlebotomy techniques.
