  • Hialeah, FL VitalCare Family Medicine & Anti-Aging Clinic is seeking a motivated, professional, and patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our growing team. This position combines both front office and clinical responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and providing outstanding patient care. Responsibilities Front Office
  • Greet and welcome patients with professionalism and warmth.
  • Check patients in and out.
  • Schedule, confirm, and coordinate appointments.
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits.
  • Obtain prior authorizations when needed.
  • Answer and manage incoming phone calls.
  • Follow up with patients after procedures to ensure satisfaction and address concerns.
  • Promote clinic services and educate patients on available treatments (upselling when appropriate).
  • Collect payments and assist with administrative tasks.
  • Maintain accurate patient records within the EMR system. Clinical Duties
  • Obtain vital signs and prepare patients for their visit.l, when needed.
  • Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection, when needed.
  • Administer injections as directed by the provider, when needed.
  • Perform EKGs when indicated.
  • Assist during examinations and procedures, when required.
  • Prepare and stock exam rooms, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
  • Maintain clinical supplies and follow infection control protocols.
  • Assist with minor office procedures and other clinical tasks as assigned. Qualifications
  • Medical Assistant certification preferred.
Experience:
3 years minimum.
  • Experience with phlebotomy, injections, and EKGs.
  • Previous experience in a family medicine or primary care office is preferred.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy medical office.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Mandatory:
Bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • Experience with EMR/EHR systems and sales is a plus. Schedule

  • Occasional additional hours may be required based on clinic needs.
