Medical Assistant Plastic Surgery Center (Full-time / Part-time)

Job Summary We are currently hiring a Medical Assistant to join our growing plastic surgery center. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and passionate about patient care. Experience in plastic surgery or general surgery is preffered . We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support clinical and administrative functions within outpatient setting. This role requires a proactive individual with strong patient service skills, proficiency in medical procedures, and familiarity with surgery. The Medical Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring efficient patient care delivery across surgical units. Duties Assist physicians and clinical staff before, during, and after surgical and aesthetic procedures Prepare patients for consultations, procedures, and surgeries Obtain and document vital signs and medical histories Prepare procedure rooms, instruments, and medical supplies Perform phlebotomy and/or assist with laboratory testing (based on experience) Assist with post-operative patient recovery under supervision Maintain accurate and organized medical records Follow all safety, infection control, and HIPAA protocols Provide excellent patient care and support throughout the visit Skills Clinical assisting and patient preparation Phlebotomy and specimen handling Infection control and sterile technique Team collaboration and attention to detail Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Qualifications & Requirements Medical Assistant certification or completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program BLS certification (required) Phlebotomy certification or demonstrated experience with lab work (preferred) Experience in plastic surgery, surgery centers, or aesthetic medicine Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment Professional, compassionate, and patient-centered attitude Position Details Full-Time and Part-Time positions available depending on volume of surgical cases. $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
