ChenMed, a leader in healthcare services dedicated to improving the lives of seniors with complex needs, is seeking a versatile and dedicated Medical Assistant, Float to support our diverse team across multiple locations. In this role, you will be pivotal in providing top-notch health care by assisting in various medical and administrative tasks to ensure efficient operation of our healthcare facilities. Your role will involve direct patient care, administrative duties, and the flexibility to work in different settings as needed. Responsibilities Provide clinical support under the supervision of a physician, performing tasks such as taking vitals, administering injections, and preparing patients for examinations. Record patient information and maintain detailed medical records in our electronic health system to ensure accuracy and confidentiality. Assist in the examination process by managing equipment, preparing treatment rooms, and assisting during diagnostic procedures and treatments. Coordinate with healthcare professionals and administrative staff across multiple locations to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations. Educate and counsel patients under the guidance of a healthcare provider, explaining procedures and discussing aftercare instructions. Required Skills Strong clinical skills such as phlebotomy, administering injections, and vital signs measurement. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work flexibly in various medical environments and adapt to the needs of different clinics. Proficiency in using medical software for patient management and record keeping.
