Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant with a strong passion for women's health to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing support to our healthcare professionals, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care to our female patients. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of women's health issues, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a positive and empathetic patient experience. Responsibilities:
Assist healthcare providers in conducting routine examinations and procedures related to women's health. Record and maintain accurate patient medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant health information. Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are well-stocked with necessary supplies. Educate and counsel patients on various aspects of women's health, including preventive care, contraception, and reproductive health. Responsible for collecting and preparing laboratory specimens, giving patients injections and drawing blood. Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and handling billing and insurance documentation. Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate and facilitate patient care. Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions with patients and colleagues. Stay current on advancements in women's health and medical assisting practices through ongoing education and training.
Qualifications:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credentials. Previous experience in a medical assistant role, with a focus on women's health preferred. Strong passion for women's health and a commitment to delivering patient-centered care. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and protocols related to women's health. Proficient computer skills for electronic health record (EHR) management. Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
