Whether working in outpatient clinics, hospital settings, or specialized departments such as dermatology, emergency medicine, or geriatrics, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality healthcare services. Responsibilities Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, verifying insurance information, and updating electronic health records (EHR systems) accurately. Measure and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature. Blood draws and Injections. Prepare patients for examinations or procedures by explaining processes and ensuring comfort. Support physicians with clinical tasks such as medication administration, wound care, and basic life support (BLS) when required. Coordinate patient flow within outpatient or inpatient settings—greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and managing follow-up communications. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment . Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, offering reassurance, and ensuring a positive experience during every visit. Qualifications Proven experience as a Medical Assistant for at least 1 year. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, ICD coding, and pharmacology to support accurate patient care. Hands-on experience with EHR systems for documentation and scheduling purposes. Ability to perform clinical tasks including intake procedures, vital signs measurement, medication administration, and basic life support certification. Strong communication skills with a focus on patient service excellence in fast-paced settings like urgent care or emergency medicine. Demonstrated professionalism with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to safety standards across all healthcare environments.
