Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Temporary Medical Assistant, where your expertise will directly enhance patient care and streamline clinical operations. In this vital role, you will support our healthcare providers by performing clinical and administrative tasks in a fast-paced medical environment. Responsibilities Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, vital signs, and documenting symptoms accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are ready for provider use Perform clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, medication administration, and basic life support (BLS) as needed Support physicians with procedures such as EKGs, Urinalysis, Ear Lavage, among others. Manage medical documentation with precision, including ICD coding, medical records management, and detailed note-taking in EMR/EHR systems Conduct patient education on medications, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions with clarity and empathy Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to safety protocols and infection control standards Experience Spanish and English is required Prior medical office experience with a strong understanding of medical terminology, and medical assisting practices Hands-on experience with Primary Health Care settings Preferred Demonstrated proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems such as EMR/EHR platforms for documentation and scheduling Experience working with diverse patient populations including geriatrics and those requiring complex care coordination Embark on a rewarding journey where your skills make a real difference!
