Responsibilities Under general supervision of the Laboratory Director, Pathologist, and Histology Manager, the Anatomic Pathology Assistant will perform the following job duties: Computer accessioning of surgical, cytology, and flow cytometry specimens in Cerner, Star, Copia Exceptional customer service with outside physicians' offices and medical staff Fax and scan documents Schedule frozen section procedures Monitor, maintain, and fill supply orders for AP clients Order specimen pick-ups and send-outs with lab couriers Cytology processing, when needed

High School/GED Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required:
1-3 years' related experience. Medical terminology knowledge, familiarity with ICD-9/10, and CPT codes.
