Job Description

Job Summary A legal services organization in Maitland, FL is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records Assistant for a direct hire opportunity. This role is ideal for someone with medical records experience from a law firm, doctor's office, hospital, or similar professional setting who is comfortable working with technology, digital files, deadlines, and confidential information. The Medical Records Assistant will support the organization and management of medical documentation, help scan and upload records, and assist with intake and phone coverage as needed. This is a great opportunity to join a professional legal environment with a consistent weekday schedule, supportive team structure, and work that directly supports case preparation and client service. Key Responsibilities
  • Scan and process medical records using AI-supported tools and digital record systems.
  • Upload, organize, and maintain files within Filevine accurately and efficiently.
  • Review records and documentation for completeness, accuracy, and proper date tracking.
  • Support intake functions and assist with phone coverage as needed.
  • Help monitor time-sensitive information related to statute of limitations, deadlines, and case timelines.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling medical and legal records. Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay rate: $19.00 to $19.50 per hour.
  • Schedule:
    Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Work arrangement: On-site in Maitland, FL 32751.
  • Job type: Direct hire.
