MUST BE ABLE TO ATTEND AN INTERVIEW AND TRAIN IN OUR PLANTATION OFFICE
Job Responsibilities:
Interview patients, check for allergies and record information, input information in the patients' medical chart Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and equipment Maintains clean, fully stocked, organized, and up-to-date rooms upon arrival and prior to leaving work Prepare injections and assist Physicians as necessary Remove staples, sutures, casts, and bandages per Physician orders Clean and sterilize equipment Apply DME per Physician orders Enter all testing, physical therapy, medications, allergies, etc. in the computer Schedule ancillary testing ordered by the Physician Call prescriptions into Pharmacy and fill the medications at our Pharmacy as needed per physician order Travel to other offices as needed. Education/Experience High School Diploma or equivalent Medical Assistant certificate Prior orthopedic experience a plus At least one year of experience as a
