This is a full-time position in our office located in Miami Lakes, with benefits. What you'll be doing as a
Medical Assistant:
As a Medical Assistant, you're the "nurse" of the practice. You'll be handling a lot of the important work that goes on to set the doctor and the patient up for success. As the first person to work with each patient during their appointment, you'll be the one that calms their nerves, gets them in a great mood, and shows them that we are there to serve them in every way we can!
Your duties will include:
  • Taking the patient back to the exam room and verifying their medical history Spending 15+ minutes with each patient before the doctor comes in, performing duties such as taking vitals, medication history, medical history, etc.
  • Assessing electronic medical records for accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Ordering proper tests based on the doctor's diagnosis.
  • Drawing patients blood work.
Educating patients on diagnosis, medication or procedures, and next course of action as prescribed by the
Doctor Experience Needed:
Prior experience as Medical Assistance and Phlebotomist is required. Bi-Lingual (Spanish/English) candidates will be prioritized.
