Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant, where your expertise will directly enhance patient care and streamline clinical operations. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive support in outpatient and inpatient settings, ensuring smooth clinic workflows and exceptional patient experiences. Your skills in medical procedures, documentation, and administrative support will contribute to delivering high-quality healthcare services across diverse specialties, including dermatology, emergency medicine, hospital medicine, and geriatrics. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and vital signs Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are ready for procedures Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, medication administration, and basic life support during emergencies Document patient information accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and ensure proper medical documentation Support medical office management by scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and handling administrative tasks Conduct ICD coding and ensure compliance with medical terminology standards for accurate billing and reporting Facilitate patient education on treatment plans, medication usage, and follow-up care instructions Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment adhering to infection control protocols Phlebotomy experiences Requirements Proven experience and active licence as a Medical Assistant or in a similar medical office role with outpatient or inpatient exposure Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and ICD coding standards Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems and electronic health records management Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately Experience working in specialized settings such as dermatology, emergency medicine, hospital medicine or geriatrics is highly desirable Ability to perform clinical procedures including phlebotomy, medication administration, vital signs measurement and intake assessments This position is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals eager to advance their careers in healthcare.
