Job Description
Verify insurance eligibility and collect patient information. Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR). Measure and record vital signs. Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures. Perform basic laboratory and clinical tasks as directed. Administer injections and perform EKGs (if qualified). Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and organized. Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality. Assist with referrals, authorizations, and other administrative duties.
