Job Description
We are the Children's Lung, Asthma & Sleep Specialists and we are currently searching for a medical assistant who resides in Ocala, FL or surrounding areas. We are searching for highly motivated, multitasking, and team oriented individuals to come on board. The individual must be comfortable working with children. This is a Full Time position that can lead into a Full Time position. Monday through Friday 8:15 AM to 5 PM with a 45 minute lunch break. In addition, we are looking to hire a second person to work as a temporary employee. The position does require traveling to Leesburg every Tuesday and Wednesday.
Duties:
- Assist healthcare providers in delivering patient care, including taking vital signs and preparing patients for examinations
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean, stocked, and organized
- Assist with scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and maintaining accurate documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients by addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient outcomes
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures

- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on providing exceptional patient service
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Requirements:
- High school diploma, equivalent, or completion of a Medical Assistant program
