Infusion nurses must also be proficient in managing infusion equipment, assessing line patency, assessing patients' responses to medications, and observing for potential drug complications. Verifies all prescriptions and dosing on medication list. Verifies patient allergies Assist doctors when needed. Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients and for any minor office procedures Give injections, at times may draw blood for labs Answers all calls and messages in a caring, polite, professional manner Keep rooms stocked and cleaned at all time Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent IV Certified Medical Assistant diploma, will need to be Certified within 90 days of hired, Friendly, professional demeanor Computer knowledge / typing Good verbal and written communication skills and good spelling
