Job Description

We are a busy Multi Specialty, Neurology and Pain Management group seeking an experienced Medical Assistant. This is a full time, Monday-Friday position. The Duties of the
Medical Assistant Consist Of:
Explaining procedures to patients, positioning patients and equipment Operate C-arm during procedures Uploading images to medical record Maintaining and operating fluoroscopy equipment Stocking the procedure suite Obtaining prior authorizations Sterilizing instruments Managing radiation badges Setting up sterile procedure trays Managing sharps/biohazard disposals. Responsible for rooming patients and obtaining vital signs Follow infection control policies and procedures Collect specimens for all necessary testing Interpersonal skills needed to interact with patients, family members and healthcare team
