The successful candidate will be responsible for taking vital signs, imputing orders, administering medications, and assisting the doctor with patient exams. The ideal candidate should also be willing to help where needed, including at the front desk with reminder calls or insurance verification. We are a newer, quickly growing clinic.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Take vital signs and create an accurate history of present illness for the provider to review
  • Review and reconcile patient medications
  • Maintain patient records and update information in the electronic medical records system
  • Enter diagnosis codes (ICD 10 codes), assist with documentation of procedures, add diagnostic imaging orders and medications
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Perform general administrative duties such as faxing and scanning documents
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in using phone systems and computer software
  • Good typing speeds
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment We offer competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
