Medical Assistant - Clinical & Surgical Dermatology Skin Dermatology & Cosmetic Services, P.A.

Palm Coast, FL Join Our Growing Dermatology Team! Skin Dermatology & Cosmetic Services is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant with experience in Clinical Dermatology and/or Surgical Dermatology to join our expanding practice. This position is based primarily in our Palm Coast office , with occasional travel to our Orange City location as needed. We are looking for a dependable, patient-focused Medical Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to providing exceptional patient care. Schedule Full-Time Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM No weekends Responsibilities Room patients and obtain medical histories. Prepare patients for examination and assist providers during clinical visits. Assist with biopsies, excisions, Mohs surgery, and other dermatologic procedures. Prepare treatment and procedure rooms while maintaining sterile technique. Perform dressing changes, suture removals, wound care, and patient education. Document patient information accurately within the electronic medical record. Assist with medication administration and procedure setup. Maintain exam rooms, instruments, and clinical supplies. Deliver compassionate, efficient patient care while working closely with providers and the clinical team. Qualifications Medical Assistant experience required. Experience in Clinical Dermatology and/or Surgical Dermatology strongly preferred. Mohs Surgery experience is a plus. Current Medical Assistant certification preferred. BLS certification preferred. Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience with EMA/ModMed electronic medical records is a plus. Travel Requirements Position is based in Palm Coast . Must be willing to travel to our Orange City office when business needs require. Mileage reimbursement provided for travel between offices. $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
