Medical Assistant

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team . The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, the ability to perform vital sign assessments, and a commitment to supporting both patients and healthcare providers. Duties Assist healthcare provider with patient examinations and procedures. Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse. Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining medical histories and documenting relevant information. Administer basic life support as needed and respond to emergencies. Utilize medical terminology effectively in communication with staff and patients. Support geriatric patients with specialized care needs. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinical environment. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Requirements Certification or diploma in Medical Assisting or related field is preferred. Proficient in taking vital signs and understanding medical terminology. Experience working in geriatrics or urgent care settings is a plus. Familiarity with coding practices for medical records is advantageous. Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
