  • Prepare exam rooms and assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures
  • Take and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height, weight)
  • Perform basic lab tests and collect specimens (e.g., urine, blood via venipuncture, swabs)
  • Administer injections and medications as directed by the provider
  • Conduct EKGs, wound care, and suture removal as needed
  • Document patient information and care in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
  • Educate patients on medications, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions
  • Maintain clinical supplies, sterilize instruments, and ensure exam rooms are stocked and sanitized
