- Prepare exam rooms and assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures
- Take and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height, weight)
- Perform basic lab tests and collect specimens (e.g., urine, blood via venipuncture, swabs)
- Administer injections and medications as directed by the provider
- Conduct EKGs, wound care, and suture removal as needed
- Document patient information and care in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
- Educate patients on medications, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions
- Maintain clinical supplies, sterilize instruments, and ensure exam rooms are stocked and sanitized
