This energetic position offers the opportunity to work closely with physicians and healthcare professionals, supporting clinical and administrative functions to ensure smooth, efficient operations. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment for patients while maintaining high standards of medical documentation and patient service. Duties Assist with patient intake, including collecting medical histories, vital signs, and preparing patients for examinations Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, medication administration, and basic life support procedures Manage electronic health records (EHR systems) and update medical documentation accurately and efficiently Support physicians during examinations and procedures, including OR (Operating Room) and inpatient settings when applicable Conduct ICD coding and ensure proper documentation of diagnoses for billing and record-keeping purposes Coordinate with hospital staff to facilitate inpatient and outpatient care, including Level I and Level II trauma center experiences Maintain medical records, manage appointment scheduling, and provide excellent patient service throughout their visit Qualifications Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar medical office role with knowledge of medical terminology and physiology Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems and electronic health records management Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent required Familiarity with dermatology, urgent care, hospital medicine, emergency medicine, geriatrics, and outpatient care preferred Strong understanding of anatomy, pharmacology, ICD coding, and medical documentation standards Ability to perform phlebotomy, medication administration, vital signs measurement, and intake procedures accurately Inpatient experience at Level I or Level II trauma centers highly desirable; OR experience is a plus This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your career in a supportive environment dedicated to excellence in patient care.
