This is a dual-role position combining client-facing group facilitation with intake and admissions support. The ideal candidate will have experience working with adults affected by substance use and mental health concerns and will be comfortable facilitating educational groups, gathering sensitive client information, completing documentation, and collaborating with clinical and administrative staff. This position will initially be part-time, with the potential to develop into a full-time role based on organizational needs and employee performance. Primary Responsibilities Facilitate structured psychoeducational and recovery-support groups for adults receiving substance use treatment. Provide education on topics such as substance use disorders, mental health, coping skills, relapse prevention, emotional regulation, communication, life skills, healthy relationships, boundaries, self-care, and recovery planning. Prepare appropriate group materials and activities that encourage participation and practical skill development. Complete timely and accurate group documentation in the electronic health record. Support the intake and admissions process by completing PAS documentation, intake assessments, and other required admission forms. Interview prospective or newly admitted clients to gather information regarding substance use history, mental health concerns, current needs, living situation, supports, and barriers to treatment. Ensure intake information is complete, accurate, and communicated to the appropriate clinical team members. Assist with client orientation and help new clients understand program expectations and services. Observe client behavior and promptly communicate clinical, medical, safety, or behavioral concerns to the appropriate supervisor. Part 2, and organizational policies. Collaborate with clinical, medical, case management, admissions, and administrative staff. Participate in staff meetings, training, supervision, and quality-improvement activities. Perform additional clinical-support duties within the employee's education, credential, training, and assigned scope of practice. Minimum Qualifications Candidates must meet at least one of the following qualification pathways: Current behavioral health or addiction-related certification, such as CAC, CAP, CRPS, CRSS, CBHT, or another relevant credential; or Associate degree in psychology, social work, human services, behavioral health, addiction studies, or a related field; or Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, human services, behavioral health, addiction studies, or a related field.

Additional requirements:

At least one year of experience in substance use treatment, behavioral health, recovery support, case management, admissions, or a related human-services setting is preferred. Experience facilitating psychoeducational or recovery-focused groups is strongly preferred. Strong verbal communication, interviewing, documentation, and organizational skills. Ability to discuss sensitive topics with compassion, professionalism, and appropriate boundaries. Ability to complete documentation accurately and within required timeframes. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Must be able to successfully complete all required background screening, training, and employment requirements. Preferred Qualifications Active CAC, CAP, CRPS, CRSS, CBHT, or similar Florida-recognized credential. Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, human services, behavioral health, or a related field. Previous experience in an outpatient substance use treatment setting. Familiarity with intake assessments, PAS documentation, electronic health records, ASAM criteria, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, and relapse-prevention education. Knowledge of community resources and different levels of substance use treatment. Experience working with adults who have co-occurring substance use and mental health conditions.

Pay:
