Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care and support clinical operations for Cardiology. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth patient flow, accurate documentation, and efficient administrative support. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your skills directly impact patient outcomes and overall clinic success. Responsibilities Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, EKGS and respiration rates Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories and current complaints with attention to detail and sensitivity Prepare patients for examinations or procedures, including medication administration when appropriate Manage medical supplies inventory, sterilize equipment, and ensure clinical areas are clean and organized for optimal patient service Requirements Familiarity with EHR systems for documentation Ability to perform clinical tasks including intake assessments, vital signs collection, medication administration Strong communication skills with a focus on patient service excellence; compassionate approach to diverse patient populations including geriatrics and medical-surgical cases Drug screening is required Join our team to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while advancing your career in a supportive and energetic environment.
