$20.00-$25.00 per hour (based on experience)

Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire Join Our Growing Multispecialty Practice We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Medical Assistant for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a busy outpatient multispecialty practice specializing in Gastroenterology and Endocrinology . This role offers the opportunity to demonstrate your skills and become a permanent member of the team based on performance and business needs. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of Medical Assistant experience and enjoys working in a fast-paced clinical environment. Previous Gastroenterology or Endocrinology experience is preferred but not required. Responsibilities Room patients and prepare them for provider visits Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints Process medication and referral prior authorizations Schedule Gastroenterology procedures, including endoscopies Perform finger-stick testing and other clinical duties as needed Assist with patient education regarding insulin pumps and diabetic management Answer and manage a multiline phone system Return patient calls and respond to patient inquiries Accurately document patient information using
EPIC EMR
Support providers and clinical staff to maintain efficient patient flow Deliver exceptional customer service while providing compassionate patient care Qualifications Required Minimum of 2 years of Medical Assistant experience Strong clinical and administrative skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical office Reliable, professional, and team-oriented Preferred Gastroenterology or Endocrinology experience Experience with
EPIC EMR
