Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician. Perform routine laboratory tests and sample analyses. Help physicians examine and treat patients, handing them instruments or materials or performing such tasks as giving injections or removing sutures. Collect blood, tissue, or other laboratory specimens, log the specimens, and prepare them for testing. Clean and sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies.

Sarasota, FL We're hiring a Medical Assistant to support daily clinical and administrative operations in a busy outpatient setting. This role is safety-sensitive and includes direct patient care, medication administration, and front desk responsibilities. You'll report to the Office Manager and work closely with providers to ensure a positive patient experience. Key Responsibilities Room patients, gather medical history, and record vitals in EMR Assist with exams, procedures, injections, and in-office testing Draw blood, process specimens, and perform CLIA-waived lab tests Provide patient education and support during visits Clean and stock exam rooms; maintain medical supply inventory Answer phones, schedule appointments, and check patients in/out Document services and manage records accurately in the EMR Assist with onboarding new staff and support other tasks as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred (RMA or CMA) At least 1 year of experience in a clinical MA role CPR, IV start, and phlebotomy certifications preferred Proficient in EMR, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills Reliable transportation required Physical Requirements Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 15 lbs for prolonged periods Manual dexterity and vision/hearing within normal range Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay Medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance 401(k) with employer match Paid time off and paid holidaysTRINITY EMPLOYMENT SPECIALISTS IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
