Medical Assistant

Full-Time Medical Assistant We are a fast-paced and dynamic physician group seeking a motivated and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about providing high-quality patient care and have a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

Medical Assisting :

Follow all clinical policies, procedures, and accreditation requirements. Accurately document patient information in the Electronic Health Record (EHR). Conduct intake interviews for both new and returning patients. Prepare patients for medical exams based on the reason for their visit. Perform related duties to support quality patient care as requested by the provider. Process and route tasks in a timely manner, ensuring prompt follow-up. Perform screening tests, safely draw blood, and complete standing orders. Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms. Work collaboratively with the entire team to ensure smooth clinic operations. Adhere to all HIPAA guidelines, Department of Health regulations, and Office-Based Surgery standards.

Additional Responsibilities:

Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes. Answer phones and manage scheduling. Prepare and update patient charts. Perform vital sign checks, rooming patients, and assisting physicians during consultations. Be proactive in completing assigned duties on time and with attention to detail.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

IV experience is a plus, though not required. Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and patient management software. Strong attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and independent work ethic. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
