Aesthetic Medical Assistant — Aesthetics & Cosmetic Surgery Albany Aesthetics & Cosmetic Surgery | Part-Time | $18-$24/hour DOE Albany Aesthetics & Cosmetic Surgery is a growing practice known for high standards, advanced training, and a polished patient experience. We're hiring a Medical Assistant who wants to build a career in aesthetics — not just fill a role. If you take pride in your work, move with intention, and genuinely care about patient outcomes, we want to meet you. This position blends clinical support, patient education, and consultative sales. You'll work directly alongside our providers and play a real part in patient results and practice growth. What you'll do Assist providers during consultations, injectable treatments, and procedures Educate patients on services, skincare, and aftercare with confidence and clarity Guide patients through treatment plans and recommend appropriate products and services Maintain thorough, accurate charting and documentation Manage room turnover, inventory, and daily clinic flow Anticipate provider and patient needs before being asked Uphold the brand standard in every interaction, from front desk handoff to follow-up What we're looking for 1+ year of hands-on experience in dermatology, plastic surgery, or medical aesthetics (required) Comfort and skill in patient-facing sales conversations — you can recommend without pressure Sharp attention to detail and strong organizational instincts Professional presence, excellent communication, and a team-first mindset A self-starter who solves problems instead of waiting for direction Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment This is a part-time position. Our business hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Thursday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We are looking for someone with flexibility to work full shifts during the week and occasional Saturdays based on business needs.
