In this role, you will assist with both administrative and clinical tasks, contribute to a positive patient experience, and help ensure smooth day-to-day operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Responsibilities Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and office visits Take and record vital signs, patient histories, and other relevant clinical information Assist healthcare providers during examinations and minor procedures Administer medications and injections as directed and within scope of practice Collect, label, and process specimens according to established protocols when needed Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record Schedule appointments, manage patient communication, and support front office operations as needed Maintain clean, organized, and stocked exam rooms and clinical areas Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards at all times Provide courteous, professional support to patients, families, and team members Qualifications Current certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program or recognized certifying body Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient healthcare setting preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, basic clinical procedures, and patient care practices Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Proficiency with electronic health records and basic computer applications preferred Ability to maintain professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail in a patient-focused environment Preferred Attributes Friendly, empathetic, and patient-centered approach Adaptability in a busy and changing work environment Commitment to providing high-quality support to patients and clinical staff Strong sense of accountability and reliability What We Offer Health, Dental and Vision Competitive wages 401K, Paid holidays, vacation Professional growth and development opportunities We are committed to creating an inclusive and respectful workplace where all team members can succeed.
