Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at a reputable Nephrology Office. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications, including inhalation medications, as directed by healthcare providers
  • Dialysis centered care and practice
  • Perform basic life support techniques when necessary
  • Take and record accurate vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Assist with X-ray procedures under the supervision of a licensed radiologist
  • Assist with coding and billing procedures to ensure accurate documentation and reimbursement
  • Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and coordinating referrals
  • Deliver excellent patient service by addressing inquiries, providing information, and ensuring patient comfort
  • Utilize your extensive knowledge of anatomy to assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures
Qualifications:
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required
  • Previous experience working in a hospital or similar healthcare setting preferred
  • Proficient in medication administration techniques
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to provide compassionate care to patients
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
