Responsibilities Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories, measuring vital signs, and updating electronic health records (EHR systems). Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks such as medication administration, X-ray preparation, and basic life support during emergencies. Support patient service activities by answering questions, providing instructions, and ensuring comfort. Manage administrative duties such as ICD coding for billing purposes, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate documentation of patient interactions. Prepare examination rooms for outpatient visits or inpatient procedures within hospital or trauma center environments. Requirements Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and ICD coding standards. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Hands-on experience with EHR systems and medical administrative support tasks essential for efficient clinic operations. Ability to perform clinical procedures including, vital signs measurement, intake forms . Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations across outpatient and inpatient environments.
