Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, no weekends
Position Type:
Temp-to-Hire We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join a busy Neurosurgery practice in Tampa, FL. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for a motivated, reliable, and patient-focused Medical Assistant who is comfortable working in a fast-paced specialty office. Responsibilities Room patients and prepare them for provider visits Obtain and document patient vital signs Assist with patient flow and daily clinical operations Prepare and review patient charts prior to appointments Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with questions Monitor and respond to EPIC In Basket messages Enter and update patient information in the
EPIC EMR
system Provide general administrative and clinical support to providers and office staff Maintain accurate patient documentation Follow HIPAA and office policies and procedures Requirements Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred
EPIC EMR
experience strongly preferred Specialty office experience is a plus; neurosurgery or neurology experience preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy clinical environment Professional, dependable, and compassionate approach to patient care Why Join Us?
