Job Description

Job Overview We are an expanding dermatology office seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a clinical setting. This position requires a compassionate individual who can effectively assist healthcare professionals and ensure a smooth patient experience. Duties As a Certified Medical Assistant, your responsibilities will include: Escort patients to exam rooms, triage patients, and document all information in the patient's chart. Assist medical providers in exam rooms. Perform procedures under the supervision of a medical provider. Assist with surgical procedures including MOHS, Excisions, Biopsy, and similar. Give instructions to patients and educate patients as instructed by the medical provider. Ensure all related reports, labs and information are scanned and available in patient's chart prior to their appointment. Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies and prepare sterilization as required. Take phone messages, provide feedback and answers to patient/provider and pharmacy calls. Ensure the clinic environment is clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations. Provide exceptional patient care, addressing any concerns or questions patients may have. Must be able to travel between all locations and work with all medical providers across these locations. Experience Candidates should have the following qualifications: Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A commitment to providing compassionate care to all patients. Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
