Job Description

On the job training will be performed at The Villages location. This position will primarily be for the Ocala office.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs, administering injections, and conducting X-rays.
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and treatments.
  • Provide medical administrative support, including maintaining patient records and scheduling appointments.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.
  • Educate patients on medical procedures, medications, and post-treatment care.
  • Follow proper protocols for infection control and maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Experience:
  • Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Proficient in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
  • Familiarity with coding and billing procedures.
  • Knowledge of basic life support techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
