Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care within a clinical setting. This position involves assisting healthcare professionals with various tasks, ensuring that patients receive the best possible service and support during their visits. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care, including taking vital signs and documenting medical histories. Assist in the administration of medications as prescribed by healthcare providers. Support healthcare professionals during examinations and procedures Perform basic life support techniques and maintain knowledge of emergency protocols. Engage with patients to provide exceptional service and address their needs effectively. Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment to ensure patient safety and comfort. Exhibit knowledge of anatomy to assist in patient assessments and care planning. Work collaboratively with the medical team to enhance patient outcomes, especially in geriatrics and hospital medicine settings. Qualifications Previous experience in a clinical or hospital environment is preferred. Strong skills in patient care, including familiarity with vital signs monitoring and medication administration. Basic life support certification is required; additional certifications in relevant areas are a plus. Knowledge of anatomy and experience working with geriatric patients is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and staff. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. A commitment to providing high-quality patient service and support.
