Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team in Weston and Pembroke Pines, FL as a Bilingual Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), where your expertise will directly impact patient care and clinic efficiency. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth clinical operations, accurate documentation, and compassionate patient interactions. Responsibilities Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and recording vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks like medication administration, patient workup and assisting with office procedures and surgeries Manage electronic health records (EHR), systems efficiently to document patient encounters accurately and ensure seamless information flow Conduct ICD coding for diagnoses to facilitate billing and insurance processing while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort Provide medical administrative support by scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and coordinating with hospital staff across emergency departments or clinics Experience Proven experience as a Medical Assistant with a background in OB/GYN. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology necessary for accurate patient assessment and documentation Hands-on experience with EHR systems, ECW and/or Intergy experience preferred Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required Prior experience supporting OB/GYN teams is a strong plus Join us in making a difference through compassionate care and clinical excellence!
