Our team values professionalism, compassion, and efficiency in a fast-paced clinical environment. Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support our dermatology providers. The ideal candidate is comfortable in both clinical and administrative tasks and has a strong interest in skin health and patient care. Key Responsibilities Room patients and obtain medical histories and vital signs Assist providers with dermatologic procedures (biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, etc.) Prepare and sterilize instruments and exam rooms Document patient information in EMR systems Provide patient education on treatment plans, medications, and skincare Handle prescription refills and prior authorizations Perform basic lab procedures and specimen handling Support front office duties as needed (scheduling, check-in/out) Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (required) Previous experience in dermatology or a medical office strongly preferred Knowledge of medical terminology Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) Preferred Skills Experience with dermatology-specific procedures Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus This is an excellent learning opportunity for pre-med or other pre-health students.
