Duties Assist with patient intake processes, including gathering medical histories and recording vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration. Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and ensure all clinical areas are clean and organized to promote safety and efficiency. Support physicians with procedures such as medication administration, basic X-ray imaging, and wound care in outpatient or inpatient settings. Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems by accurately documenting patient information, ICD coding, and updating medical records promptly. Conduct physiological assessments and support patients with diverse needs including geriatrics, internal medicine, emergency medicine, or trauma cases at Level I or Level II trauma centers. Coordinate patient scheduling, follow-up appointments, and assist with insurance documentation to streamline clinic operations. Provide compassionate patient service by answering questions, explaining procedures, and ensuring a positive experience during every visit. Requirements Proven experience working in clinical environments such as family/internal medical practices. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent is required to ensure readiness for emergency situations. Familiarity with EHR systems and proficiency in medical terminology for accurate documentation. Ability to perform clinical tasks such as vital signs measurement, intake procedures, medication administration and injections. Ability to perform administrative tasks such as answering phones and front desk check in procedures. Strong organizational and communication skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
