Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and updates in electronic health records (eClinicalworks) Prepare examination rooms and ensure medical equipment is sterilized and ready for use Administer medications and injections as directed by providers Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing Provide patient education on medications, treatment plans, and health maintenance Handle scheduling, insurance verification, and administrative tasks as needed Maintain a clean and organized clinical environmentQualifications & Skills:
Certification:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited medical assisting program preferredExperience:
At least 1 year of experience in a clinical setting preferredSkills:
Excellent communication, multitasking, and patient care skillsTechnical Proficiency:
