Certified Medical Assistant

Medical Professionals is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Float to support primary care clinics serving diverse communities across Georgia. This Certified Medical Assistant float role assists healthcare providers with patient care, clinical procedures, and patient education while traveling between clinic locations as needed. The float Certified Medical Assistant helps ensure consistent patient care and smooth clinic operations across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and treatments as a Certified Medical Assistant Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and relevant clinical information Prepare exam rooms and ensure proper setup and cleanliness before and after patient visits Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers Perform basic laboratory testing and collect patient specimens Support clinic operations by floating between clinic locations to assist where coverage is needed Provide patient education and instructions regarding treatment plans and procedures Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system Minimum Qualifications Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast paced clinical environment Proficiency using electronic health record (EHR) systems Ability to work as a float Certified Medical Assistant supporting multiple clinic locations Preferred Qualifications Current certification or registration as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Previous experience working as a Certified Medical Assistant in a medical or clinical setting Family health or pediatrics experience

Schedule and Pay Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00

PM Pay:

$19 to $24 per hour based on experience
