We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team and support healthcare professionals in providing top-notch medical services to our community.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and updates in electronic health records (eClinicalworks) Prepare examination rooms and ensure medical equipment is sterilized and ready for use Administer medications and injections as directed by providers Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing Provide patient education on medications, treatment plans, and health maintenance Handle scheduling, insurance verification, and administrative tasks as needed Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment
Qualifications & Skills:
Certification:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited medical assisting program preferred
Experience:
At least 1 year of experience in a clinical setting preferred
Skills:
Excellent communication, multitasking, and patient care skills
Technical Proficiency:
